Overview

This used 20ft shipping container is Grade A: normally under 8 years old and kept in good order. It's a cleaner step up from a basic used box.

The steel body is wind and watertight, so rain and weather stay out, and the standard double cargo doors sit at one end.

Frequently asked questions

Which jobs suit a Grade A used 20ft container?
As the tidiest used stock, Grade A fits where looks count: customer-facing yards, home use, and neat site stores. It also handles general secure storage.
What does Grade A mean for a used container?
Grade A is our top used grade: a sound container with limited surface wear and the fewest dents and patches. You pay more than for basic used stock, and you get a tidier box that's still wind and watertight.
How big is it, and what can I fit inside?
Floor space comes to roughly 160 square feet, from a 20ft by 8ft outer size. Think the contents of a one to two bedroom home, around 9 to 10 pallets, or stock and equipment.
What condition will it arrive in?
For its age, it should be clean and sound, with minor surface marks and light dents. Each unit is inspected and graded before delivery, and we check that Grade A stock is wind and watertight.
How will it be delivered and placed?
Delivery is by tilt-bed (roll-off) truck: the bed tips and the container slides off at ground level, so you don't need a crane or forklift. Ahead of time we check that the ground is firm and clear for the truck to reverse and tilt onto.
