Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about buying, customizing, and receiving your shipping container. Still have a question? Contact us.

Buying a Container

What's the process for buying a shipping container?

Request a free quote online or call us. We confirm the unit's availability, its price, and delivery to your site, then take care of the paperwork and logistics.

Container Sizes

What sizes of shipping container are available?

Our container sizes are 20ft and 40ft, including high cube units that add a foot of height, along with specialty types like refrigerated, open top, and flat rack.

Delivery & Logistics

Is delivery available nationwide?

Yes, delivery covers all 48 contiguous states. The delivery price is set by your ZIP code and site access, and we handle the drop-off from the quote through the truck's arrival.

What should I get ready before the delivery truck arrives?

Clear a level, obstacle-free run of roughly 100 feet so the tilt-bed truck can position and unload the container. We confirm site access with you before scheduling the drop.

Container Condition

How do new and used shipping containers differ?

A one-trip unit has crossed the ocean once, so the paint is intact and the floor is clean; it is the closest thing to new you can buy. Cargo-worthy (CW) stock has been in service for years. It still passes inspection to carry freight and it is still wind and watertight, but the lower price buys you dents, surface rust, and patched paint.

Modifications & Custom Builds

What modifications can you make to a container?

Yes. We install personnel doors, windows, insulation, wiring, HVAC, shelving, and roll-up fronts, turning containers into offices, workshops, retail units, and cold-storage conversions.

Pricing & Payment

What does a shipping container cost?

Price depends on the size, the condition grade, and where it is going. Send a quote request with your delivery ZIP and we come back with current pricing, normally within 1 business day.

General Questions

Can I rent a container instead of buying one?

We sell containers rather than renting them short-term. Describe your project and we'll point you to the purchase option that fits the job and your budget.
