Forge Containers ("Forge," "we," "us," or "our") operates forgecontainers.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse products, request a quote, place an order request, arrange delivery, or contact us about a purchase or service.

This policy is a notice of our practices, not a request for blanket consent. Where a particular activity requires consent, we obtain it separately. Product purchases are addressed in our Terms of Sale.

1. Information we collect and its sources

Contact and business details. You provide your name, email address, telephone number, and, where relevant, company name and preferred contact method. A person arranging a business purchase may also provide the name and contact details of a site representative.

Quote, order, and delivery details. We receive the products you ask about or select, quantity, finish, delivery address, site-access instructions, messages, and any specifications you send. Order correspondence can include references, invoices, payment status, delivery arrangements, and return or warranty information. Please provide another person's details only when you are authorized to do so.

Payment records. The website does not collect card numbers, online-banking credentials, or instructions to debit your account. Payments are made separately by bank transfer. Our bank and the records you send us may show the payer's name, transfer reference, amount, date, and other remittance details needed to identify a payment or issue a refund. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary account details through our forms.

Website and security information. Our site and its providers process information such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, pages requested, source page, and security or spam-prevention signals. Cookie identifiers and browsing or interaction information may also be processed when analytics or advertising tools are enabled, as described in Section 5.

Information from others. Delivery providers, suppliers, banks, and people acting for you may provide information needed to fulfill or support your order, such as delivery status, site-contact details, payment confirmation, or a report about a product problem.

We do not ask for government identification numbers, health information, precise device location, or sensitive financial credentials through the website. Avoid including unrelated sensitive information in a free-text message. A delivery address is used to arrange fulfillment, not to track your live location.

2. Why we use information

We use the information relevant to each activity to:

  • Answer questions, prepare quotes, and discuss product specifications and suitability.
  • Review order requests, verify payments, issue invoices, and coordinate delivery or agreed services.
  • Handle returns, product problems, refunds, and warranty requests.
  • Send service messages about your inquiry or order and keep the associated business records.
  • Maintain the cart and privacy preferences, operate the website, diagnose faults, and limit abuse or fraud.
  • Measure website use and advertising results when the relevant tools are enabled and legally permitted.
  • Send marketing communications where permitted and manage opt-out requests.
  • Meet accounting and legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and resolve disputes.

Providing a phone number for a quote or delivery does not by itself authorize automated promotional calls or texts. If you ask us to reply through a particular available channel, we use that preference to respond to your inquiry.

3. Who receives information

Technology and communications providers. We use providers that help host and secure the website, serve content, and deliver email. Our website uses Vercel for hosting, Sanity for catalog and page content, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention, and Resend for form and order email delivery. Business email providers also process the correspondence we receive and retain. These providers process the information relevant to their services; this does not mean each receives every field in your order.

Fulfillment and payment participants. We provide suppliers and delivery or service providers with the contact, product, and site information needed for the work they perform. Banks process payment and refund transactions. These participants may have independent obligations for their own records.

Analytics and advertising providers. When enabled, Google Analytics and Google Ads, deployed through Google Tag Manager, may receive browser identifiers, site activity, and related technical information to measure traffic or advertising. Depending on the configuration and applicable law, those disclosures can be considered a sale of information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands. See Section 5 for your choices.

Legal and business recipients. We may disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate suspected fraud, or complete a business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

We do not sell quote or order contact lists for money. Advertising-related disclosures are addressed separately above. We do not treat every recipient as acting solely on our instructions; a recipient's role depends on the service and applicable agreement.

4. Records, retention, and security

Quote, contact, and order submissions are sent to our team by email. The website does not provide a customer account or an order-history database. That does not mean your information disappears after submission: email copies, invoices, payment records, delivery records, and provider or security logs may remain.

We retain inquiry records as needed to respond and follow up; order and payment records as needed for fulfillment, accounting, disputes, and legal obligations; and return or warranty records as needed to administer the claim and preserve relevant evidence. Technical logs are retained as needed for security and troubleshooting. We consider the purpose, sensitivity, active business need, and applicable recordkeeping duties when deciding how long to keep a category of information, and delete or de-identify records when no longer needed, subject to lawful holds and backup processes.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and the services involved. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us if you believe order correspondence or payment instructions have been compromised.

5. Cookies, analytics, and privacy choices

Cart and preference storage. The first-party forge-cart cookie stores product selections, quantities, and an optional finish for the guest cart. Its configured lifetime is up to 30 days, and updates can renew that period. It does not store your delivery address or payment credentials. The browser also stores your cookie choice under cc-consent; this preference has no application-set expiry and remains until changed or cleared.

Security. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals to help distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. Security processing and cart functions are separate from optional advertising choices. Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains its processing.

Optional measurement. Our site supports Google Analytics and Google Ads through Google Tag Manager. Whether those tools operate depends on the site's active configuration. In the current opt-out configuration, enabled tools can operate before you make a choice unless you previously opted out. They may use cookies or similar technologies for traffic measurement, advertising attribution, and personalization subject to applicable controls. Denied cookie consent may still permit limited measurement signals depending on Google's configuration; it is not a promise that every network request stops.

Your browser choice. Select Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the website footer to reopen the cookie notice, then select Opt out. The choice applies to the browser where you make it; repeat it on other browsers or devices. Clearing local storage can reset it. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking the cart cookie can prevent the cart from working. Contact us for help or to make a broader privacy request.

Browser preference signals. Our website does not currently respond automatically to Global Privacy Control or traditional Do Not Track signals. To exercise an applicable opt-out right, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control in the website footer or contact us as described below.

6. Email, phone, and third-party services

You can ask us to stop marketing emails by using the unsubscribe method in the message or contacting us. We may still send messages needed to handle an active inquiry, order, refund, or other service matter. We obtain any legally required consent before sending promotional texts or placing automated promotional calls; an order request is not a marketing-text subscription.

If you follow a link to WhatsApp, a map provider, or another third-party service, that service processes information under its own policy. We receive information you choose to send us there. Do not assume that declining website analytics changes your settings within those separate services.

7. Privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to our processing, you may have rights to access information about you, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain consequential profiling. Applicable law may also provide rights concerning sensitive information. We do not use website order submissions to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.

For California residents where the CCPA applies, these rights can include knowing the categories and specific pieces collected, the sources and purposes, and the categories of recipients. The categories described in this policy include identifiers and contact details, customer-record information, commercial information, internet activity, and business-affiliation information. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you. Advertising-related disclosures, if enabled, may involve identifiers and internet activity; they are distinct from providing an address to a carrier for delivery.

To submit a request, email sales@forgecontainers.com with the subject Privacy request, or use our contact form. Describe the request and provide the contact details you used with us. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify an access, correction, or deletion request and protect against unauthorized disclosure. Do not send a government ID or sensitive account information unless we explain why it is necessary and provide an appropriate method. Browser opt-out requests do not require an account or an identity-verification exercise.

An authorized agent may act for you where the law permits, subject to appropriate authorization and verification. We respond within applicable deadlines, explain any lawful extension or refusal, and do not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate for exercising a right. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal, reply to our decision with Privacy appeal in the subject line. We will review it and explain the outcome and any available regulator complaint route. Deletion may be limited by obligations to retain transaction records or other lawful exceptions.

8. Children and international visitors

Our products and ordering services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information about children under 16.

Our business serves U.S. customers. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, subject to applicable transfer requirements. Visiting from another country does not waive privacy rights that apply to you.

9. Changes and contact details

We will post changes to this policy with an updated effective date and give additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. A policy update is not blanket permission to use previously collected information for an incompatible new purpose.
