What's in this category

This category holds open and deck trailers for hauling equipment, materials, and recreational vehicles. Listings are a mix of new and used, from single-place jet-ski trailers to 40ft gooseneck equipment trailers.

Trailer types

  • Utility and landscape trailers, typically 6ft to 7ft wide and 12ft to 16ft long, with ramp gates for mowers and ATVs
  • Dump trailers in 5x10 to 7x16 sizes, including hydraulic and telescopic-lift models
  • Equipment trailers with tilt decks, partial-tilt decks, or ramps for loading skid steers and small excavators
  • Deckover trailers, where the deck sits above the wheels to give a full-width loading surface
  • Gooseneck trailers that couple to a hitch in the truck bed for heavier loads
  • Aluminum snowmobile and crossover trailers in 1- to 5-place layouts

Reading the listing titles

Titles give the year, the brand, the size as width x length, and a weight rating in parentheses. Sizes are in feet, except a width of 101, which is 101 inches (about 8ft 5in). For example, "7x16 (14K)" is a 7ft-wide, 16ft-long trailer rated at 14,000 lb. Make sure your tow vehicle and hitch are rated for the trailer you choose.

Before you buy

Match the trailer's deck size and rating to your heaviest regular load, not your average one. Check whether you need a bumper-pull or gooseneck hitch. Each product page lists the condition and specification. For covered hauling, see the enclosed trailers. Request a quote and we'll confirm price and pickup or delivery.
