Overview

Three horses fit in this used 2021 Shadow Stablemate bumper-pull, whose tack wall folds inward. Folded, it frees floor space for hay or equipment, and saddles and bridles hang in the tack area at the front.

Multi-use interior of the Stablemate

A large rear door handles horses and bulky loads alike, and drop-down windows on every side let in light and air. Width is 6ft 9in and height is 7ft 6in, which should be compared with the horses, the tow vehicle, barn doors, and parking space.

Tack wall and door checks on the 2021 Stablemate

Folding the wall inward opens up space but ends the fixed separation between stalls. Inspect the hitch, brakes, lights, bearings, tires, floor, window latches, rear door, and the hardware on the tack wall.

Frequently asked questions

Does the fold-in tack wall change how many horses fit?
It is a 3-horse trailer, but the wall swings inward to open the interior for hay, equipment, or other cargo. That trades fixed stall separation for flexibility. Ask us to confirm the layout.
What hitch does the fold-in-wall trailer use?
A bumper-pull, which couples to a ball hitch on the tow vehicle. Confirm the hitch equipment, loaded weight, and tow-vehicle ratings first, since cargo use changes the load.
What should be checked on this used 2021 horse trailer?
It is used, so check the tack-wall hardware, rear door, window latches, floor, and tires. Every unit is inspected and graded before it ships. Ask about anything the gallery does not show.
What should be confirmed before buying this multi-use trailer?
Compare the 6ft 9in width and 7ft 6in height with the horses, tow vehicle, barn doors, and storage area. Also check how the tack wall and the large rear door work in each position.
